Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics ( BANBEIS) was established as an attached department of the Ministry of Education (MOE) in 1977. It is the only government organization responsible for collection, compilation and dissemination of educational information and statistics. From the beginning, this institution successfully contributed to different multidisciplinary development in the education sector through preparing and providing necessary information and statistics. BANBEIS is using modernized ICT to initiate and establish an educational database program for documentation and supplying authentic educational information.
